Concrecel^® USA was selected by Advanced Roofing of South Florida to be the provider of all Lightweight Insulating Concrete on this 40,000 sq/ft elementary school in Palm Beach, Florida. Advanced Roofing selected Concrecel® USA due to its ability to meet the demanding construction schedule set forth by the school board which required that all construction be completed during the schools summer recess. The project consisted of the complete removal of two existing roof systems, lightweight insulating concrete and corrugated metal decking. Upon completion of metal decking by Advanced Roofing, Concrecel® USA provided and installed the Alternative Roof Blocking System in lieu of traditional wood blocking at all perimeters, curbs and expansion joints and then placed the lightweight insulating concrete in accordance with all project specifications.
